A Day in the Life of Raegan Nickole

My name is Raegan Nickole, and i am a victim of Progeria. I'm 5 years old, and i age faster than i should. I'm not much bigger than my 2 year old brother, and i have big bug eyes. This is all from the disease Progeria. No one knew i had this disease until i was about 2, when the doctor told me i was producing the symptoms of a very unusual disease. I was told that i would live until i was about a teenager, and i can tell you that this scares me more than you can ever imagine. Day by day, i look like i'm older and older, and that is something i can't control. There is going to come a day where i won't be here anymore, and it will be too soon for me to live a life that i would love to live. Even though i'm very sick, i live the best life that i possibly can. I smile and laugh and play with all my strength. Every day is a gift because i never know when my last day will be. But i am sure grateful for all the friends i have and all the memories i am making along the way.
